1870

Arhivele din orasul Solingen au informatii despre fabricantul de cutite Carl Wilhelm Linder. Acesta s-a nascut in 1816 si in 1870 avea prpriul lui atelier intr-un catun numit Bech, acum parte din Solingen. El ducea mai departe mestesugul mostenit de la tatal sau.

1890- 1903

In 1890, dupa moartea acestuia, Carl Wilhelm Linder al II –lea devine proprietarul acestui atelier, continuand munca tatalui sau in acelasi catun pina in anul 1903 cand se muta intr-un atelier mai mare pe strada Weyerstr Nr.63.

1908

In 1908 volumul afacerii sale crescuse atat de mult, incat fostul atelier a devenit acum companie. Asadar anul 1908 va ramane ca an de referinta pentru fondarea companiei.

1911

In 1911 directorul companiei  anunta ca sediul acesteia se va muta inca o data, de data aceasta p eHauptstr Nr.45. Carl era in acea vreme unul din multii producatori de cutite, iar cutitele sale erau ,in special, cutite de vanatoare

1918

Pe data de 28 mai 1918 Carl cumpara proprietatea de pe strada Erholung nr.5/7. Se stabileste definitive la aceasta adresa in anii 40, iar curand dupa razboi volumul exportului Solingen creste, acaparand tot mai multe piete.

Dupa moartea lui Carl, sitatia companiei se inrautateste datorita faptului ca acesta nu avea ca succesr decat o fiica complet dezinteresata de aceasta afacere. In cele din urma sotia lui Carl va vinde compania si proprietatea lui Paul Rosenkaimer.

Paul Rosenkaimer, un cutitar din Solingen, va numi compania Linder Nachf, termenul “Nachf” insemnand tocmai successor. Acesta va ramane numele complet al companiei pina in ziua de azi.

1939-1948

In timpul razboiului insa, cutitele de vanatoare nu mai trezau interesul prea multora, asa ca Paul Rosenkaimer si-a indreptat atentia catre industria militara, lasan compania in ruina pina in 1948.

1949

Incepand cu anul 1949 compania devine o asociatie tata-fiu. Nevoia de spatiu pentru productie ii va determina pe cei doi sa cumpere o propritate noua. In 1953, proprietatea din Erholungstr.10 va fi cumparata de familia Rosenkaimer.

1957

O noua cladire va fi construita in acest spatiu, iar incepand cu anul 1958 intreaga productie se va muta in aceasta locatie. Fostul sediu de pe Erholungstr.5/7 va servi ca spatiu doar birourilor

1976.

Vechiul sediu din Erholungstr.10 va fi ocupat de o fabrica de instrumente chirurgicale pina in 1976. Dupa mutarea acestei fabrici din spatial Linder, Paul va moderniza intreaga cladire, iar pina in 1977 toata activitatea se va desfasura in ceasta locatie incluzand in acest spatiu si birourile din vechiul sediu.

1980-1981

Incepind cu 1980, fiul lui Paul, Stephan S.Rosenkaimer va monitoriza intreaga activitate, iar un an mai tarziu i se va alatura si fratele sau, Peter P. Rosenkaimer, ocupand functia de designer.

1985

Pe data de 2 martie 1985, Paul Rosekaimer trece in nefiinta,successor legal fiindu-i Siegfried Rosenkaimer
